The Seattle Public Library has digitized and made George Gulacsik‘s images chronicling the construction of the Space Needle available. After perusing the collection on Saturday night (brill!) I headed over on Sunday to make a few of my own images while Gulascik’s were still fresh in my mind.
His images appeal: unfussy and practical. Fun to picture Gulascik up on top of the Space Needle (untethered) with his Leica making images like this one.
