Being back in Seattle for an extended, uninterrupted amount of time has allowed me to reconnect with pals and get out and around the city.
Friday night’s dinner with a dear, dear pal at Hitchcock allowed me to unwind after work on the ferry and spend a bit of time at Eagle Harbor’s Waterfront Park.

There are parts of living on Bainbridge I miss quite a bit: The Grand Forest, commuting on the ferry, the daffodils popping up en masse along the roads in the spring, an early morning round of golf before work at Meadowmeer, picking up the share of a CSA from Butler Green Farms and planning the week’s meals… I’m happy to have those experiences and memories and to still live close enough to hop a ferry on a Friday night!
Refreshing!
