A couple of weeks back, my dear pal Mike alerted me to the imminent release of the complete recording of Charles Mingus’ 1974 performance at Carnegie Hall. It’s good to have good friends like Mike. Sure, he’s an incredible artist, knows more about Photoshop than you do (trust me, that’s truth) he’s generous with his time and knowledge, a fabulous colleague and, because Mike, he’s a fabulous photographer, too.
