liner notes

technical data, 1954

“This record represents the finest quality of multi-channel recording that can be achieved through the finest equipment available today.”

Starting the day with Pearl Bailey’s “Around The World With Me” Reading the liner notes of these older LPs is always fascinating: sympathetic reviews of the artist and the work and the “technical data” of the recording techniques. Interesting to learn that the Synthetic Plastics Company manufactured buttons and plastic toy parts in addition to “budget” music albums.
