Seattle 7:45 p.m. – 9:12 p.m.

Last night’s full moon and phases of the lunar eclipse as seen in Seattle’s sky. I’m always just thrilled to catch sight of a full moon; watching the moon’s shape and color change as the moon moved into the Earth’s shadow was a real treat. With the moon rising in the Northeastern sky, it aligned with my particular portion of Pike Street; watching people gasp when they saw the moon as they walked up the street was pretty cool, too.

    1. Thank-you, very kind! I’m glad you had a chance to see it too. I was shocked when I noticed the clouds clearing shortly after sunset. Quite a lovely evening.

      Hope you are well!
