“The Viaduct closed Friday at 12:00 a.m. and, predictably, Seattle now suffers the curse of Viadoom. If you have a chance to be in the Market, a walk down Western Avenue while the Viaduct is closed is worth the time. Unfortunately, fences have been installed along the overlook at Victor Stienbrueck Park which make the view less than ideal. The sound of the waterfront has changed…silence.”
