Memorial Day

All of the people were on all of the beaches here in Chicago yesterday. After a lovely brunch with pals we spent the afternoon at Osterman Beach, in our crowd more commonly known as Hollywood Beach, for an afternoon of people-watching.

It’s hard to beat Chicago’s parks and beaches in the summer. I wish I could have captured the smells of the charcoal in the hibachis, sunscreen and lake in these photos.
