Hey! I’m fine. Truthfully, the news (all of the news) has me in a bit of a mood. This image is both a reflection of my mood, the end of a game of pool I played Thanksgiving weekend and a reminder to myself to spend my time wisely.
I am so glad you are well, and I agree with you that news is depressing. I am also concerned about the Seattle Seahawks! I have ready, a book to read so that I will not watch when the other team has the ball! Half of me likes to read airhead books, the other half of me loves serious research. I am immersed in the history of the Fremont neighborhood and am posting a series of articles on my Wedgwood blog…..so what’s the problem????? That’s what I am up to these days. Next week — I will make a trip to downtown Seattle to enjoy the lights and decorations. Wherever you are, please post some photos of twinkly lights for me? ‘Tis the season for twinkle, twinkle.
I’ve been remiss in catching up on your Fremont work. I’ve added your work to my reading list! I worked in Fremont from 1999-2015; I look forward to learning more about Fremont through your research.
My reading list is almost exclusively non-fiction. However, a friend who is similarly frustrated by the news is using Agatha Christie as a salve. I’m re-reading “And Then There Were None”, I’d read it as a kid, and forgotten just how good it is.
