Walking along Michigan Ave. on any day, but especially on the weekend, is a challenge. More often than not, I’ll head West (always bypassing Rush St.) and take Wabash or State Streets North or South to my destination.

Sunday arrived and we found ourselves out of dry cat food, walking South on Michigan, looking for a respite from the crowds and searching for a pet supplies store.

We walked East. We found a cool pet supplies store.

Neither of us had seen the “new to us” / “installed almost a year ago” mural on the Schatz building. Impressive, well designed and it’s now impossible to overlook the building as the 100th anniversary approaches.
