sketches

I’ve been inspired by many of my friends who have been sketching lately so I thought I’d join in on the fun.

“Roosevelt” is a sketch of one of my favorite CTA L stop designs: a silhouette of the Chicago skyline in blue below the station name framed in red, rounded tiles. The Roosevelt stop is a particularly nice example of the style presented on a rounded wall at the end of the platform.

“99 N – Seattle Center” (unfinished) is a sign that won’t be around much longer as it lives on the always “soon to be gone” Viaduct.
