Chocolate Cake. Soaked with Bourbon.
Melissa Clark updated Maida Heatter’s recipe last year and I’ve been looking for a reason to bake a cake. Today’s Super Bowl party seems as good a reason as any!
Now, I’m left to decide the finishing: bourbon glaze or confectioner’s sugar?
My loft smelled strongly of bourbon yesterday afternoon. The smell is still strong and I’m not certain that’s a bad thing.
