I’ve always thought my office building was a really odd shape and configuration. This property was formerly Mid-Ohio Volkswagen Headquarters, with OCLC taking the land over in 1979. I can’t seem to determine if this building is the same one that Volkswagen occupied, in which case it was built in the 1960s by architects Perkins & Will. But it may have been renovated when OCLC took it over. Regardless, it is an odd, off-set square/diamond box of 60s-era concrete and glass. I go from finding it unattractive to weirdly beautiful on a weekly basis. But that carpet? That carpet is horrible.
