We stopped by the Skagit Valley Tulip festival late Monday as we drove home from Vancouver. The warm spring shortened the tulip season, a couple of the fields were topped, there were still large patches of red, white and purple to take in and the Cascades made for a lovely backdrop!
The fields will be topped by Monday but the gardens should last through the end of April.
Glad you are getting around everywhere — you sure are seeing the sights! (psst! check spelling, Skagit! and Cascades – Cascade Mountains.)
Thanks! It’s good to get out and about!
Oh dear! Thanks for the corrections! I shouldn’t post before coffee and I should always proofread!!!
Have a great weekend!
Drink more coffee, it cures everything, and it also stimulates the economy!
